HADLEY — On Saturday at about 10:15 a.m., Joseph Moye, 80, of Smelterville, Idaho, allegedly fell asleep and crashed on State Route 376 at mile post 19 in Nye County (about 27 miles south of Hadley). Moye was driving his 2004 Oldsmobile Alero south on pulling a small camping trailer when he drifted off the roadway to the right. Moye overcorrected to the left and slid across the center line and off the roadway to the left. The undercarriage of the Oldsmobile struck large rocks in the desert area east of the roadway, damaging the engine. Moye was uninjured.
