At 10 a.m. on Friday, nonpartisan incumbent Dwight Dortch will speak with his opponent, Ed Hawkins. Both are running for Reno City Council, representing Ward 4.
Also on Friday at 11 a.m., nonpartisan candidate Ed Lawson will speak with his opponent, Robert Lopes. Both are running for Sparks City Council, representing Ward 2.
On Oct. 22, Democratic candidate Betty Hicks, who is running for Washoe County Commission against incumbent Republican David Humke and Libertarian David Colbourne, Ward 2, will speak at 10 a.m.
Also on Oct. 22, Reno Mayor Bob Cashell, who is running for re-election, will speak at 11 a.m. Cashell owns Cashell Enterprises and served as lieutenant governor of Nevada from 1982 to 1986. Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki, also running for re-election and former Nevada state treasurer, has been asked to join Cashell.
