STATELINE –– Edgewood Companies, formerly Park Cattle Company, announced that Chuck Scharer has been named president and CEO. Scharer has served as a member of the board of directors of Edgewood Companies since November 2008.

He also sits on the board of directors of Barton Memorial Hospital located in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
