‘Hunt for the Facts’ at Animal Ark sanctuary

RENO — Enjoy a fun, educational experience at the “Hunt for the Facts” scavenger hunt, July 24 at Animal Ark Wildlife Sanctuary and Nature Center. Participants will test their knowledge and learn new facts about wildlife as they tour the center with a questionnaire in hand, hunting for the answers.

Animal Ark will supply everything needed to assist guests with their “junior keeper” experience. Docents will be available to share facts and stories about the animals and certificates will be awarded at the end of the scavenger hunt.

The Hunt for Facts will take place on July 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. To get to Animal Ark, take U.S. 395 north from Reno, turn right on Red Rock Road, go 11.5 miles and then turn right on Deerlodge Road.
