RENO — The City of Reno Neighborhood Advisory Boards are seeking new members to help maintain and promote a collaborative relationship between residents and city government.

Members of the Neighborhood Advisory Boards advise the Reno City Council and other city boards on policies and projects that affect their neighborhoods. The Neighborhood Advisory Boards also recommend Community Pride Grant funding for projects based on the needs of their neighborhoods.

Interested Reno residents who live within ward boundaries and want to help make a difference in their neighborhood are encouraged to contact Reno Direct at 334-INFO (4636) or visit the city of Reno’s Web site at www.reno.gov to apply.
