After canceling June’s meeting, the Spanish Springs Citizen Advisory Board will hold its elections for the 2009-2010 term tonight at 7 p.m. at the Spanish Springs Library, which is located a few yards from the normal meeting location at the Lazy 5 Regional Park community center.

The board will be electing officials to perform the duties of chair, vice chair and secretary.

In addition to electing officials, the board will receive updates about parks in the community, search and rescue and the Sparks Citizens Advisory Committee.

The CAB discussed reducing its monthly meetings because of budget cuts and will begin holding meetings every other month with the meeting on Sept. 9 at 7 p.m.

The Spanish Springs Library is located at 7100A Pyramid Highway and the CAB meeting starts at 7 p.m.
