The Railroaders fell at home to Spring Creek Saturday night, 65-48, and have now won just one of 13 games this games this season. Spring Creek improved to 5-8.
Sparks took a 14-11 lead into the second quarter but trailed 29-25 at the half and never saw the lead again. The guests took a 50-38 lead into the fourth quarter before outscoring the hosts 15-10 in the final quarter.
Isaiah Campbell led the Railroaders with 20 points, hitting 8-of-16 shots from the floor, including four from behind the arc.
Victor Trinidad and Kevin Borja both chipped in nine.
The Railroaders hope to pick up their second win of the season Tuesday at South Tahoe. The Vikings are 4-9.
The SHS girls did not fair any better than the boys, falling 46-6 to the Spartans.
Sparks trailed 16-6 after the first period, but did not score again in the game.
The Railroaders fell to 1-10 this season while the visitors improved to 10-9.
