Wild Island announces back to school hours

RENO — Just because it’s time to go back to school, it doesn’t mean summer is over. Wild Island is announcing its new extended summer hours, to help families get the most out of these last hot months. The waterpark will be open longer into September, making this the longest and best summer Wild Island has ever shared.

Beginning on Aug. 12, the park will be open during the week from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Don’t forget about Wild Island weekends, as the waterpark be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The waterpark will be closed during the week beginning on Sept. 8, but will remain open on the weekends through Sept. 22

Wild Island will be running a mid-week special from Aug. 12 to Sept. 6 for $27.99 per person. Anyone will receive unlimited outdoor mini-golf, bowling and High Ballocity all day, as well as admission to the waterpark from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Use this special to take advantage of all the great attractions Wild Island has to offer. To just enjoy the waterpark from 3:30 to 7 p.m. the price for admission will be $12.99.

Coconut bowl, Pirate Cove Mini Golf, High Ballocity and Laser Mazes are open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Go-Karts and outdoor mini golf are open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
