Tribune//Debra Reid - Lazy 8 opponents said they'll keep fighting the proposed casino if the Sparks city council allows a zoning change for the project.
According to City spokesman Adam Mayberry, city staff delayed the item because they felt it needed additional review.
An April 2 city planning commission meeting on the proposed hotel and casino drew comments from more than 140 people. Almost all were in opposition to the project.
