Colton Iverson scored 21 points and Wes Eikmeier chipped in 20 points as four Colorado State players scored in double figures and led the Rams to a 77-66 home win over Nevada in the Mountain West Conference regular season finale for both teams Saturday night.

Pierce Hornung and Greg Smith chipped in 16 and 11 points respectively to CSU's winning cause.

Colorado State, which improved to 24-7 overall and 11-5 in the MWC, extended Nevada's losing skid to seven games. The Wolf Pack fell to 12-18 overall and finished its first season in the MWC at 3-13, good for last place.

Nevada shot a solid 24-of-44 (55 percent) from the field in defeat. That figure was better than CSU's 25-of-57 (44 percent) effort, but the host Rams held a big edge at the charity stripe. Colorado State finished with more made free throws (24-32) than Nevada attempted (15-23).

Colorado State also helped its cause by out-rebounding Nevada 31-22.

Nevada point guard Deonte Burton finished with 27 points to lead all scorers. Malik Story posted 14 and Marqueze Coleman added 12 for the Wolf Pack.

Nevada, will be the MWC Tournament's No. 9 seed and will face No. 8 seed Wyoming in the tourney's play-in game Tuesday night at the Thomas & Mack Arena in Las Vegas. Tip-off is 5 p.m. Colorado State is the conference runner-up, behind league champion New Mexico, and will play No. 7 seed Fresno State in a tournament quarterfinal Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
