North Tahoe could not find a way to stifle Sparks' offense Tuesday night. The Railroaders shot 52 percent from the floor as a team and in turn held the Lakers to six points in both the second and fourth quarters to secure a 61-34 road win.

Even without leading scorer Keiffer Putman's 15 points a night, Sparks found plenty of offensive options as four players finished in double figures.

Bobby Brown led the way with 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Both Mike Albior and Geo Vasquez added 11 points, while Jessie Ray chipped in 10. Albior also dished out nine assists. Vasquez made all five of his field-goal attempts and was one rebound from a double-double.

The game was still close after the first quarter with the visitors leading 17-11, but the Maroon and Gold out scored North Tahoe 14-6 in the second quarter to take a 31-17 lead at the intermission.

The Railroaders piled it on by putting up 16 points in the fourth while allowing only six.

Sparks (11-8, 5-2) takes on South Tahoe at home Friday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
