Recently, it was reported that individuals claiming to represent the Boys & Girls Club were soliciting donations door-to-door in a Sparks neighborhood. They reportedly said they were collecting donations for a “Second-Chance Basketball Program” for teens.
The Boys & Girls Club is asking the public to report to local police and club administration any persons claiming to represent the Boys & Girls Club in this way. Call the Reno Police dispatch at 334-2121 or the Sparks Police dispatch at 353-2231. The club administration can be reached at 331-5437.
