The University of Nevada football team suffered a heart-breaking 49-48 loss to Arizona Saturday in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl.

Nevada finishes its season with a 7-6 record.

The Wolf Pack led 48-35 with 1:46 left in the contest but could not close out its Pac-12 foe. Arizona scored a touchdown, recovered an on-side kick and then scored a second touchdown, all in the final two minutes, to steal the win.

Nevada led 45-28 entering the fourth quarter and had jumped out to a 21-0 edge to open the game, but those leads left the Wildcats unfazed. Arizona finished its season 8-5.
