RENO — Bishop Manogue Catholic High School’s Sodality Club kicked off its annual food drive on Wednesday. Each year, this women’s service organization partners with Sister Carmen at Our Lady of Snows Catholic Church and Holy Child Early Learning Center to distribute food to hundreds of families throughout the area.
Donations of non-perishable food items can be dropped off at the school’s front office before Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Bishop Manogue is located at 110 Bishop Manogue Dr. in Reno. The goal this year is to collect 8,000 food items, about 2,000 more than last year, in light of the growing needs of our community.
