SPARKS — The fall season has some of the most important family gatherings on the calendar year. Being that September is Hunger Action Month, Move For Hunger has partnered with The Flower Bucket Floral Shop and Five Star Moving and Storage to collect donations for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.

Starting Sept. 10-30, food collection boxes will be conveniently located at The Flower Bucket on 1657 Prater Way in Sparks. With more than 107,000 people in northern Nevada at risk for hunger, even the smallest of donations can make a difference for someone in need.

Residents, neighbors and all members of the community are asked to come together to donate unopened, non-perishable food items throughout September.

Five Star Moving and Storage has generously donated all of the collection boxes and will also deliver the donations to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada after the event.
