The museum will open early all weekend long to accommodate visitors to the balloon races. Check out 31 years of balloon race posters and two rooms filled with art for sale from the Sierra Watercolor Society and the Wild Women Artists. Visitors will also get free admission to the museum collection, which features rare and exotic artifacts and animals collected during the world travels of Reno rancher, adventurer and philanthropist Wilbur D. May.
The free open house is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
