On Friday, Detectives of the Regional Street Enforcement Team and the Northern Nevada Fraud and Identity Theft Task Force conducted a joint investigation targeting Mount who was believed to be manufacturing fraudulent bills. Mount was suspected of passing the fraudulent currency throughout the Reno, Sparks and Carson City area.
During the investigation, detectives searched Mount’s residence where an active financial forgery laboratory was discovered. As a result, several items of evidence were seized, including a computer and printer, which were allegedly utilized to manufacture the fraudulent currency. Mount was arrested on 19 counts of forgery and 19 counts of possession of a forged instrument:
