Reward for suspect in robbery of Wells Fargo Bank

RENO — Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the robbery of Wells Fargo Bank at 200 S. Virginia St. in Reno.

At about 10 a.m. on Wednesday the suspect entered the bank and handed a note that demanded money from the teller. The note indicated that the suspect had a weapon although no weapon was seen. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash northbound on S. Center Street.

The suspect is described as an unknown race male adult with dark/tan skin in his 30’s to early 40’s, about 5-foot-7-inches tall, 130 pounds, slender build, with a few days growth of beard and mustache. He was wearing a baseball cap, brown short-sleeved t-shirt, blue jeans, and light colored shoes. Photographs are available from the Reno Police Department.

Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
