RENO — The Wells Fargo Bank located at 200 S. Virginia St. was robbed Wednesday morning. No one was injured and the suspect has not been apprehended.

At about 10 a.m. Wednesday, Reno Police Department officers and FBI agents responded to the bank on report of a robbery. The suspect entered the bank a few minutes before 10 a.m. and gave a note to a teller demanding money. The note indicated the suspect had a weapon, although none was seen. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash the suspect fled the bank. He was last seen running northbound in the 10 block of South Center Street.

The suspect is described as a male of unknown race with dark or tan skin in his 30s to early 40s, between 5-feet 6-inches and 5-feet 7-inches weighing about 130 pounds. He has a slender build and severals days’ growth of a beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, brown short-sleeved T-shirt, blue jeans and light-colored shoes.
