This month is “Over Three for Free” at the Nevada Humane Society. Adopt adult cats and dogs that have been at the shelter longer than three months for free. All other adult cat adoptions cost $25 and dogs cost $50. Kittens can be adopted for $40.
Pet adoptions can be made from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Nevada Humane Society, located at 2825 Longley Lane in Reno. For more information, call 856-2000 or visit nevadahumanesociety.org
