RENO — The young artists of Brüka Theatre’s Summer Performing Arts Camp concluded their two weeks of artistic enrichment with a performance of “Alice in Wonderland” at the downtown library on Sunday.

The youngsters helped develop the script for the production, which started in the library auditorium, traveled around the library’s three levels — to the surprise of some of the other library patrons — and concluded back in the auditorium. The camp participants included several dance numbers with modern music in their adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic fairy tale about Alice’s trip down the rabbit hole.

Brüka Artistic Director Mary Bennett said theater, which will announce the lineup for its 20th season in August, holds a variety of acting workshops for teens and adults throughout the year in addition to the annual summer camp for children.
