Pair of suspects sought in Stead Subway robbery

RENO — Police are looking for two men who robbed the Subway restaurant at 10603 Stead Blvd. on Sunday.

At 2:51 a.m., two Hispanic men entered the 24-hour restaurant wearing bandannas on their faces. One of the suspects was armed with a long gun. The suspects confronted the clerk and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money from the register. Both suspects fled the business on foot.

Both suspects are between 18 and 24 years old with spiky hair and last seen wearing bandannas over their faces. One wore a blue hooded sweatshirt and the other wore a white shirt.

Anyone who has information relating to this incident is asked to contact the Reno Police Department at 334-2115, or Secret Witness at 322-4900, report online at or text the tip to 847411 (TIP 411) keyword “SW.” Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects.
