Several Sparks suspects arrested on drug charges

SPARKS — Sparks police arrested several suspects in connection to drug sales at the 1900 block of C Street Wednesday.

Several teams from the Sparks Police Department served a search warrant at the location for drug sales. Detectives had conducted separate investigations into drug sales from the address involving several suspects.

At 7:14 p.m., the police units served the search warrant and several suspects were detained and later arrested.

Arrested was: Maria Perez-Soltelo, 53, of Sparks, was reportedly maintaining the residence for the purpose of narcotics sales, according to police reports; Santiago Villanueva-Rodriguez, 42 of Sparks, who was charged with two counts of PCS sales, two counts of sales of methamphetamine, maintaining a residence for the purpose of sales and conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substance Act; Ruben Guzman-Cordova, 26, of Sparks, was charged with two county of PCS sales, two county of sales of methamphetamine, conspiracy to violated the uniform controlled substance act.

Jose Luvana-Diaz, 40, and Jesus Acosta-Manzano, 41, were arrested by ICE officials pursuant to tis investigation and detained on an ICE hold.
