RENO — Residents, bicyclists and individuals who frequently drive on Plumas Street are encouraged to attend an upcoming Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) public meeting regarding proposed improvements to Plumas Street.

Some of the proposed improvements include reducing lanes to one direction each way, implementing a middle turn lane and adding bike lanes.

The public meeting will be held at Anderson Elementary School, 1055 Berrum Lane, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The RTC will present the proposed improvements and public feedback to the Reno City Council at a future City Council meeting (not yet determined).
