Supreme Court to hear possible foreclosure mediation changes

CARSON CITY — The Nevada Supreme Court will conduct a public hearing on July 9 regarding proposed amendments to the state’s foreclosure mediation rules. The proposed amendments are attached as an exhibit to the order scheduling the hearing, which is available online at www.nevadajudiciary.us/index.php/viewdocumentsandforms/func-startdown/8839/.

The hearing will be held in the Nevada Supreme Court Courtroom at 201 S. Carson St. in Carson City and will be videoconferenced to the Nevada Supreme Court Courtroom at 200 Lewis Ave., 17th Floor, in Las Vegas.

Those interested in participating in the hearing should notify Tracie K. Lindeman, clerk of the court, by July 3.  The clerk can be contacted by telephone at 684-1600, by email at nvscclerk@nvcourts.nv.gov. The deadline for written comments is 5 p.m. July 3.
