Sparks Police seek woman suspect following car jacking

Sparks Police detectives, in an ongoing investigation of a felony case of eluding police and possession of a stolen vehicle that happened May 9, are attempting to locate a female suspected of being a passenger in the vehicle pursuit.

The case involved suspects Jeramie Carlsson and Michael Mulkey, who were arrested shortly after the incident. The two suspects remain in custody at the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Jail on charges stemming from the incident.

The incident that occurred May 9 reportedly involved driver Jeramie Carlsson and Michael Mulkey who car jacked a vehicle and led police on a pursuit through Spars.

The female was caught on surveillance cameras at the Western Village just prior to the pursuit. Police are pursuing the woman as a person of interest in the case.
