SPARKS — Put on your poker face and get to pedaling. Great Basin Brewing Co. in Sparks will serve as both the starting and finish line for the eighth bi-annual Poker Run presented by the Gonads-N-Strife Bicycle Club on Sunday. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Reno Cancer Fund, in memory of Gary Setzer. Great Basin Brewing Co. will be donating a keg of beer to the cause.

With a $20 buy-in, participants receive a commemorative T-shirt and can draw a card at each location along the bike route. Registration starts at 11 a.m. and the bike ride starts at noon from Great Basin at 846 Victorian Ave. Riders must be back at Great Basin by 4 p.m. to show their hands. The high hand wins an Electra bicycle.

An after-party with raffle items and live music performed by Jahzilla will follow the event at Great Basin Brewing Co.
