Marc Aaron Walker has been charged with hit and run causing injury, failure to render aid, failure to report an accident and failure to obey a flagger in a construction zone. According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, at about 6:45 a.m., Walker, an agent with the Immigration Custom Enforcement Department, was driving westbound on State Route 341 towards U.S. 395. Walker reportedly was stopped by a flag person in the construction zone and then he and got into a verbal altercation with the flagger. Walker then allegedly drove past the flagger’s stop sign, and was then stopped by another flagger, when he again started a verbal altercation. As Walker tried to drive around this flagger, according to NHP, he struck the flagger in the left arm with the left side of his vehicle. Walker was then stopped by a third flagger and once again started in a verbal altercation before pulling out his badge and driving away.
The incident was reported to NHP, which identified Walker through his registration. Authorities contacted Walker and he later drove himself to the NHP office where he was arrested.
