RENO — Clark and Sullivan Construction announced Monday the completion of work on a project for Renown Children’s Hospital located at 1155 Mill St.

The project included work on the fourth floor of the Sierra Tower that now houses the Wilbur D. May Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the 16 children’s patient rooms.

“We were pleased to be part of a project that will benefit overall care of children in northern Nevada,” said BJ Sullivan, president and CEO of Clark & Sullivan Construction.

Work on the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit included two therapeutic playrooms, including one for teenagers and one for elementary school-aged children, the Ronald McDonald House Family Room, three wheelchair-accessible rooms and an environment that includes artwork, colors, furniture, lighting and wall treatments that cater to children.
