RENO — The Goddard School announced Wednesday that more than $1,600 was donated to Renown Children’s Hospital during its silent art auction held the week of April 23. This is the second year for the art auction at the school. Each classroom submitted a piece of art made by the children in the room. Parents were encouraged to bid throughout the week with all winning bids benefiting Renown Children’s Hospital.

The Goddard School, located at 8650 Technology Way in Reno, opened in September 2008 and is owned and operated by Chelli and Ryan Motherway. The school accommodates 138 students, ages 6 weeks to 7 years old.
Families have the convenience of extended hours from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., the flexibility of either half- or full-day schedules and quality assurance standards that are monitored corporately.

For more information on the Goddard School call Chelli or Ryan Motherway at 853-0511.
