Three arrested after indoor marijuana growing bust

RENO — Detectives with the Regional Street Enforcement Team and Northern Nevada Interdiction Task Force found a large marijuana growing operation Wednesday in the basement of a house at 400 Glenmanor Dr. Officers had obtained a search warrant after receiving a tip indicating marijuana was being grown inside.

Ann Soresca, 29, Jared Dalen, 30, and Jared Phenix, 31, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for sales after detectives seized more than 60 marijuana plants at different stages of growth, more than 1,800 grams of useable marijuana, numerous firearms and several pipes, bongs and scales. They estimated that this operation could have produced several pounds of marijuana with a street value of more than $150,000.
