SPARKS — A man wearing a grey baseball cap and black sunglasses fled with an undisclosed amount of cash at the 7-Eleven Store 250 Pyramid Way location at 5:50 a.m. Friday, after dramatically breaking an empty wine bottle on the store floor and threatening to kill the clerk if he didn’t keep quite.
After taking cash from the store, the suspect asked the clerk for his car keys, but the clerk couldn’t comply as he had no vehicle, according to police reports.
The man, described as 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighing 200 pounds, wore a grey hoodie over his baseball cap and a medium blue jacket with some type of grey emblem with writing on the top, center of the back and light blue jeans.He also had on white and black running shoes and blue motorcycle-type gloves.
After grabbing the money, the suspect fled on for out the west doors, running northbound on Pyramid boards In & Out Burger.
Sparks police reported no weapons were seen during the crime, besides the wine bottle.
