Showcasing the tenets of mountain culture, the Nevada Land Conservancy, Great Basin Preservation Pale Ale, and the 11th annual Banff Mountain Film Festival Truckee Meadows Tour together celebrate the great outdoors, sustainability, human endurance and community partnership. With remote locations and stunning scenery, the spirit of outdoor adventure in all its glory will come to life on screen for 1,130 viewers here in northern Nevada, through spectacular stories of skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, kayaking and mountain cultures from all over the world.
Doors open today at 6 p.m. in the Rose Ballroom of John Ascuaga’s Nugget. Films will run from 7 to 10 p.m. All seats are assigned. Tickets cost $25 the day of the event. VIP seating is also available for $43, which includes a one-year Nevada Land Conservancy membership.
