RENO — The Committee to Aid Abused Women (CAAW), an organization for victims of domestic violence and their families, will honor the 2012 Hannah Humanitarian Award recipients on April 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa.

The Hannah Humanitarian Award Luncheon will honor Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto, Claudia King and the late Omer King for their humane and compassionate efforts to support women and children who are impacted by domestic violence. In addition, the luncheon will feature a program by Sam Nuttmann, producer and director of “Shout: The Story of Domestic Violence.” Nuttmann will share his emotional experience of domestic violence within his own family.

For more information about CAAW or to make a reservation for the Hannah Humanitarian Award Luncheon, call Amy Saathoff at 329-4150 or visit www.caaw.org. Reservations can be purchased for $50, or a table of eight for $400.
