Reward in robberies at Chevron, 7-Eleven

RENO — Secret Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with robbery of the Chevron store at 350 S. Arlington Ave.

At 11:17 p.m. Saturday, a light-skinned Latino man entered the store, approached the clerk and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect told the clerk he was armed with a firearm while holding his hand close to his waistband. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash northbound on Arlington Avenue. The suspect is described as being about 5-feet 10-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up over his head, black gloves, black pants and a black mask covering his nose, mouth and chin.

Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the armed robbery of the 7-Eleven store at 610 Mt. Rose Ave. in Reno.

At 1:45 a.m. Monday, a white male adult entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash westbound on Mt. Rose Avenue. The suspect is described as being in his early 20s, between 5-feet 10-inches and 6-feet tall with a medium build, and last seen wearing a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a blue bandana over his face.
