Poker tournament to benefit Washoe Drive Fire victims

RENO — Pacific 5 is holding a Texas hold-em poker tournament at the Grand Sierra Resort Saturday, March 10 at 2:00 p.m.

An entry fee of $70 is required with a $50 buy-in plus a $20 GSR sign-up fee. Entry fees are tax deductible. Prizes include $1,000 to $500 or a weekend getaway. Food, drinks and entertainment will be provided.

100 percent of the funds raised will be going to the victims who lost their homes in the Washoe Drive Fire. At the completion of the fundraising drive, checks will be distributed to Depoali Middle School, Damonte Ranch High School and Pleasant Valley Middle School; which in turn, will distribute the money directly to the familes who lost thier homes. Donations can be made at any US Bank and checks should be made out to Pacfic 5/Washoe Fire Fund Account #153755101281. You can sign up for the tournament at or contact a staff member of Depoali, Damonte Ranch or Plesant Valley Elementary School.
