RENO — Officers from the Reno Police Department Traffic Division will be conducting enforcement activities focusing on pedestrians today.
The operation is designed to increase public awareness of how right-of-way laws apply to pedestrians, helping to reduce the potential for pedestrians being injured or killed in accidents. The enforcement activities are funded by a grant from the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety.
The event will take place at 2 p.m. beginning at City Hall.
