One of the most recognizable traditions of the Chinese New Year is the Lion Dance, a legendary ritual that is performed each New Year to frighten away evil spirits and bring luck for the coming year. Performances of the Lion Dance are scheduled for 4, 7 and 10 p.m. Friday; noon, 3, 6 and 9 p.m. Saturday; and noon Sunday. The Lion Dance will be performed on Silver Legacy’s mezzanine level near the Mining.
