SPARKS — Pump It Up of Reno-Sparks, part of a national chain of indoor, inflatable playgrounds, will host its February “Bounce It Forward Playdate” as a fundraiser for Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation.

Pump It Up invites parents and children ages 2 to 11 years old to jump, slide and bounce on the facility’s huge, colorful inflatable structures from 4 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 8. Families are asked to contribute a $5 donation for each participating child. All proceeds will benefit Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation. In addition to bouncing, the event will also feature a craft.

Children must be at least 34-inches tall to play on the inflatables. Socks and a signed waiver are also required.

“The Reno-Sparks community has really embraced Pump It Up, and as local business owners, we believe it is very important for us to give back to the community,” said Michelle Simmons, owner of Pump It Up in Reno-Sparks. “We chose Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation for our February ‘Bounce It Forward Playdate’ because it’s the region’s only organization dedicated solely to childhood cancer.”

Pump It Up of Reno-Sparks, located at 610 E. Glendale Ave., can be reached by calling 324-9663. For more information, visit
