RENO — Great Basin Brewing Company, producer of Nevada’s finest handcrafted brews, has teamed up with Moment Skis, manufacturer of Nevada’s finest hand-made skis, to create “ICKY Skis.” The skis are designed with Great Basin’s Ichthyosaur “ICKY” IPA graphics. The limited custom run of these skis is 40 pair. The skis are for sale exclusively at the Reno and Sparks brewery locations while supplies last. 

Great Basin will also be giving a few pairs of ICKY Skis away. Every Wednesday through Feb. 22 is now “ICKY Wednesday.” Great Basin patrons will receive a single entry for every pint of ICKY IPA purchased on Wednesdays. The drawing for the skis will be held and winners announced at the Sparks location at 6 p.m. on Feb. 25. Winners need not be present to win.

ICKY Skis are handmade in Reno by Moment Skis. Based on their Night Train ski design, the skis have twin taper, and built to surf big mountain lines with effortless zeal and confidence. These fat boards are lively and super light, so you can ski them all day and enjoy that well-deserved Great Basin “ICKY” IPA after the last run of the day.
