RENO — Krys Bart, president/CEO of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority, has been awarded the highest honor an airport executive can receive: the Distinguished Service Award from the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).

During a ceremony at last week’s Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Board of Trustees meeting, the chair of the AAAE, Kelly Johnson, presented Bart with the honor.

“The DSA Award is the AAAE’s highest honor,” Johnson said after flying in to present the award. “Recipients of this prestigious award are selected based on their outstanding accomplishments in their professional and personal life.”
