Even though the dinner happens after the Sunday RCO concert, Saturday night concertgoers are encouraged to attend as well.
A no-host bar will be open from 4 p.m., with dinner shortly after 5 p.m. Wine courtesy of Tahoe Ridge Winery will be served with dinner.
The cost is $50 per person, $15 of which is a tax-deductible contribution to the RCO. Seating is limited. Reservations must be made by 3 p.m. Friday. To make a reservation, call 348-9413.
Maestro Kuchar and Rogé will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Nightingale Concert Hall at the University of Nevada, Reno. The program will include the Persian March by Johann Strauss II, the “Egyptian” Piano Concerto No. 5 by Saint-Saëns, and the “Great C Major” Symphony by Schubert. Pre-concert talks featuring Mr. Rogé and Maestro Kuchar, in conversation with the RCO’s Chris Morrison, will take place inside Nightingale Concert Hall starting 50 minutes before each performance.
Tickets are still available for both the Saturday and Sunday concerts. Purchase tickets online or by calling the RCO at 348-9413. More information, including videos and program notes, is available online at www.renochamberorchestra.org.
