SPARKS — The city’s Parks & Recreation’s Basic Dog obedience program, instructed by Guy Yeaman, begins Jan. 30 and runs through March 5. Classes will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Sparks Recreation Center, 98 Richards Way.
By using positive training methods, you will teach your dog to heel, sit, stand, stay, recall, etc. Results are guaranteed. Dogs will need a training collar (choke chain, Halti, Martingale, harness, etc.) and a 4- to 6-foot leash. Dogs must be current on all shots. Records must be shown at start of class.
