The Railroaders got off to a quick start and the rest of the game became a formality in their return to Mount Rose League action Saturday.

Sparks led 28-7 at halftime and the visitors used the game to work on different things and get more people playing time.

Barry Bow led the Maroon and Gold. Coach Dan Schreiber said Bow was one of the new things his team was working on and Bow seemed to flourish in his role. Bow gives Sparks a different piece it didn’t have before.

Keiffer Putman added nine points, while D.J. Devine added eight.

Sparks (12-4, 1-1 in Mount Rose League) takes on Whittell Tuesday night.
