Wilde’s most enduringly popular play is about a couple of well-to-dos pretending to be the same made up person in order to escape burdensome social obligations in Victorian London. All of this high farce and witty dialogue is just so trivial!
Performances take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Jan 27, 28, Feb. 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18. Tickets cost $14 in advance for students or seniors, $17 in advance for general admission and $20 at the door for all tickets. A Pay What You Can performance is scheduled for Jan. 26 and a matinee performance will be held at 3 p.m. on Jan. 29.
