SPARKS — The 12th Annual Breakfast with Santa event on Dec. 3 at Cantina Los Tres Hombres raised $2,500 for Children’s Miracle Network, host Frontier Financial Credit Union announced this week.

For the last 12 years, credit union staff members, the Renown Foundation and many other individuals have volunteered their time to bus tables, serve food, capture photos of kids on Santa’s lap and help with prize raffles. Festive caroling and music was provided by The Note-Ables, a group that gives people with disabilities the chance to perform.

Frontier Financial thanks the volunteers, Model Dairy and Walmart Store #2106 for their donations to the event. Thanks also goes to High Sierra Imagery for the Santa photos and to Cantina Los Tres Hombres for hosting the event.

Since 1997, Frontier Financial Credit Union members have raised $132,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network. As part of the “Credit Unions for Kids” program, funds are raised throughout the year with the sale of candy bars, book sales, the “CHANGE the Way You Give” program, and “Breakfast with Santa.”

The Children’s Miracle Network is an international nonprofit organization that generates funds through awareness programs for the benefit of children served by its associated hospitals.
