Ryan Hall of Sparks was ejected from the passenger seat when a black 1991 Toyota 4 Runner driven by a 16-year-old from Sparks overcorrected to the left and then to the right right after the vehicle veered off the roadway edge.
Hall was killed instantly. The driver, who was wearing his seat belt, was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center for serious injuries.
The Walton’s website set up a page where people could write their condolences to the family. A few of them read as follows:
Judi Lodholm: “Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel for your loss of Ryan. May God bring you comfort during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.”
Debbie Hager: “Sweet Sherryl, my heart goes out to you for your tragic loss. My prayers and thoughts have always been and will always be with you. God has called young Ryan home so soon. May God grant you some measure of peace in the days to come. My condolences to the entire Hall family.”
Katie Torry: “Ryan was a great kid. I loved his help in my classroom over the last few years. He had a lot of spirit. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.”
Karen Bishop: “Although I will not be there just remember that my prayers and Love will always be with you at your time of need. Ryan was a great kid and he gave great hugs. Love Karen.”
