RENO — A man was robbed at gunpoint Monday night by two people at the Coed Lodge, located at 800 N. Virginia St. One of the suspects has been arrested and one is still at large.

At about 9:35 p.m., according to Reno police the victim was inside his room when two white male adults entered. One of the suspects was armed with a shotgun and struck the victim on the head with the butt of the gun. The second suspect bound the victim’s hands. The suspects took the victim’s wallet and money and ransacked the room taking several items, including electronics and jewelry. The suspects then fled the scene on foot.

Subsequent investigation by Reno police resulted in the arrest of Timothy Blackford, 44, for armed robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary.

The second suspect is outstanding. He is described as a man in his late 20s or early 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall weighing between 150 and 180 pounds with short dark hair and last seen wearing a dark-colored T-shirt and dark-colored cargo shorts.
