RENO — The Social Security Administration will dedicate a new hearing office at 10 a.m. Friday at 300 Booth St., Suite 4000.

Social Security’s administrative appeals operation, under the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review, is the largest administrative judicial system in the world. Agency administrative law judges conduct hearings and issue approximately 750,000 decisions each year. This is the second permanent hearing office located in Nevada and will further reduce the backlog of cases currently awaiting a hearing.
