Police seek person who fired gun near restaurant

Reno police are looking for these three people regarding an alleged firing of a gun in the parking lot of La Michoacana restaurant early Sunday morning. In the incident, two women were arguing in the parking lot when the black man allegedly fired seven shots into the air from a light green Ford Expedition. Police also are seeking a Hispanic man who was seen with them in this image taken from a surveillance camera. RENO — At 4:23 a.m. Sunday, Reno police officers responded to La Michoacana restaurant at 4950 S. Virginia St. on a report of shots fired in the parking lot. Upon arrival, officers learned that there was a dispute between two women outside the restaurant. Then, a man reportedly fired seven shots into the air from a light green Ford Expedition with Nevada plates. There were no injuries as a result of the shooting.

The suspect is still outstanding, and Reno police would also like to speak with two other people who were seen with the suspect.

The man who allegedly fired the gun is described as a black man in his mid 20s, last seen wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt and black jeans.

Police also want to speak with a Latina woman last seen wearing a black dress and gold shoes, and a Latino man last seen wearing a green, long-sleeve button-up shirt and dark pants.
